I currently have Symantec endpoint protection small business 12.1 to put in my office and have Symantec endpoint protection manager 12.1 as well. We recently added some Windows 8 machines and I was unable to install Symantec Endpoint protection using the endpoint protection manager to push out the client. Reading through some of the forums, it sounds like I need to download the latest updates to ensure that the version of Symantec endpoint being pushed out to the client machine supports Windows 8.
I logged on to the Symantec download site and see several different download options, each with a long and not too intuitive name (at least not for me :) ). Could someone please let me know which file I need to download and overall how I go about updating things such that Windows 8 is supported?
