    Hello;

    I currentley have the "SERT" running off a bootable USB stick. I have a requirement to have the USB boot off a standalone computer with no hard drives. It's sole purpose is to scan other USB sticks. I have no problem when a hard drive is connected but when I remove the hard drive the system will reboot as soon as you select "continue loading recovery tool" and chose a language. Has anyone ran into this problem or come up with a work around?

    Thanks

    Jeff

    Do you get any message asking for a PIN?

    Or does it just go into a reboot loop?

    Hi Brian

    I do have a valid pin and get past that point. It reboots just before your presented with the screen to start the scan. I'm thinking it might be checking that there is somewhere to save the scan session information, since it can't find a local drive it reboots?

    Hi james

    No local drive attached, Booting of USB stick. Would like to scan other USB sticks. The reason for no hard drive is to elimate the possibility of the local hard drive becoming infected.

    Thanks

    I've not seen this sort of issue but I don't many using it for the purpose you are. Not sure why a hard drive would be required since it's all on the USB. Perhaps a support call may be needed.

    I agree I think a support call might be needed.

    Thanks
