    Hello,

When I use the SERT that has been downloaded from FileConnect, the Blue Circle of Death appears and never goes away.

Does anyone know why the 'Busy' cursor appears and won't go away?  Is there a missing dependancy?

Yes, I am getting PIN options.  When the ISO was downloaded, it was the latest there was.  I think it was about three to four weeks ago.

Boot the CD and click on "Continue to load SERT"

I had the same issue with SSR on a custom WinPE disk. Never heard it called the Blue Circle Of Death. ROTFL cool

Anyway, I wrote a program to reset the cursor to an arrow (I think it's all cosmetic anyway) if you're interested, I can send it to you. Just PM me your email.

I've just confirmed the version that I've downloaded as being ....

    Symantec_Endpoint_Recovery_Tool_2.0.24_AllWin_EN.iso

Hope this helps and I hope this matter can be resolved very quickly?

    Hello,

Could you please let us know -

    1) What OS are you using the SERT on?

    2) What was the purpose behind running the SERT?

    3) Did you check / follow any of the articles before running the SERT Utility -

    1) What OS are you using the SERT on?

Does it matter?  I'm using on WIndows 7 systems, but your ISO can be used on any OS

    2) What was the purpose behind running the SERT?

It's designed purpose.  To find and remove Viri, Trogan and other malware

    3) Did you check / follow any of the articles before running the SERT Utility -

Yes, extensively.  Why would I need to read an article about an issue your program has?

This issue is not caused by me, as I'm using the disc "AS IS" from your site.  Me reading a docment is not going to make your code run better.

    Thanks for the links though.

I need this resolved.  You you think it's got something to do with the expiry of the tool??

    Hello,

I do not think the PIN could cause the issue.

To understand the exact cause of the issue, we would require the Full Memory Dump Logs which you need to send it to the Technical Support Team by creating a Case.

I would recommend you to create a Case with Symantec Technical Support -
