Symantec Endpoint Server clients not updating.

 Suddenly my Endpoint server 12.1.2 server clients stop connecting to server starting today morning. Since yesturday it was working fine. Could anyone please tell me what might be the issue.

Is there any port in server that might be blocking the clients??

is the SEPM updated?

can client communicate to SEPM?

Please check that your sepm server is updated, and check the port 8014 is open or not.

check windows firewall and port 8014.

they would stop communicating if the symantec endpoint manager service is stopped.

Check the port is open bidirection port no - 8014
Restart the sep manager and sep database service

Enable sylink logging on the client and post the log here

Hi, 

Is the SEPM is updated with latest version?

While manually launching the live update what is happening?

From client to server communication is proper via port 8014 (by default)
