I have windows 2008 R2 sever running with Microsoft® Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0.

I have insttall  Symantec™ Event Collector 4.3 collector but not recive proper logs.

Hi,

There is one important step in collecting the MS IIS logs is to make sure the log format is correct in the IIS Manager and all the fields are selected. (this is explained in the pdf of collector)

Else do you have an extract of the collector logs ? any error message ?

Compatibility requirements for the event collector is showing this....
The collector is compatible with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
versions 5.x and 6.x.
The collector runs on the following operating systems:
■ Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or later
■ Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 4 or later
■ Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1 or later
■ Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition with Service Pack 1 or later
■ Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later

hi,

can any one sare to Microsoft® Internet Information Services (IIS) latest event collector Setup.

I am using SSIM 4.7.4.

If your IIS server is 64bit, you need to re-package the IIS 4.3 collector with the 4.4 collector install.bat file. Otherwise, the original IIS 4.3 collector doesn't work on 64bit environment.

There is a KB that explain on how to install 4.3 collector using some of the file from a 4.4 on a 64 bits platform.
