    Hello!

I'm trying to configure Symantec Gateway Email Encryption to use with The Bat! email client.

    I have configured SMTP connectors:

The settings of the outbound SMTP connector:

On the client (The Bat!) I use the following settings:

When I try to send mail from my client I have the following error:
    004_TheBat_Send_log.png

The Bat!'s SMTP log says the following:

    [01:53:30]  C: Connected to encserv.demo.local, port 465
    [01:54:10]  S: 421 encserv.demo.local PGP Universal service not available

    What is my mistake?

At a glance, I'd say the security options on your SEMS don't match those being attemtped by your client.

The SEMS appears to be configured to only accept SSL on port 465, while the client is clearly using TLS.  I'd suggest swapping the option on the SEMS to "STARTTLS Allow" and giving that a whirl tbh.
