You need to create a bootable device such as a USB key, USB drive or DVD, and then put your Ghost files on there.  The Ghost Boot Wizard will do this for you. Recommend you take the WinPE option as this supports modern hardware.  You may need to add Vista 32 bit drivers (and select them as well) for your SATA chipsets where the existing drivers in WinPE do not support the hard disk subsystems.

Sorry, I only just spotted that you have Ghost 11, and not 11.5. Ghost 11 did not provide WinPE as a boot environment if I recall correctly.

So I would suggest you read this article: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/readyadventures-winpe

This will enable you to create your own WinPE boot environments, and by adding your Ghost executables, you should be able to run imaging from your WinPE boot device.  I would recommend using a good quality USB hard disk for this purpose.

What bootable Ghost media are you using?  Also confirm whether PCDOS or WinPE?

Is your CD drive a SATA device or a USB device?  If so, you will not be able to see it from a DOS boot.

As far as I am aware, the Ghost 11 image will work with GSS 11.5 without any issues.

    Hi Omar,

The Optin of adding SATA driver's is not available in PCDOS. Sice your device seems to be a Sata drive you need to use Win PE Enviorment.

To use WinPE enviorment you need he updated version of ghost which is 2.5.1

To download version 2.5.1 you need the licanse file for Version 2.5.0

    Navigate to the website  www.fileconnect.symantec.com

Enter your serial number and follow the instructions to download the product in a zip format

Then register the product by following steps

Steps to apply the license for the Ghost Console :
    1.Open Ghost Console
    2. Click on Help > Register Console

Since you are using version 11.0, you might be eligible for a free upgrade to 11.5. Go to the website mentioned by Hardhik, and check if you are eligible for the free product upgrade by using the serial number in the license file. The license file can be accessed from the location:

    C:\Program files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Licenses or
    C:\Program files(x86)\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Licenses

Open the license file with notepad and find the serial number and use the same to check the eligibility.
