Two Supported Versions... Best to Upgrade to the Latest

Hi Cseng,

There are currently two versions of the SMSMSE product that are supported: SMSMSE 6.0.x and SMSMSE 6.5.x.  The 6.5 version is the latest and greatest: it introduced Exchange 2010 support and several other features.

Some details are available in Release notes for Symantec Mail Security 6.5 for Microsoft Exchange (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-gate.nsf/...)

Unless there is a clear reason to remain with the 6.0 version, I do recommend upgrading to the 6.5 line as soon as it is convenient to do so.

Please let the forum know if this answers your query or if there is anythign else that will help!

Thanks and best regards,

Mick

With thanks and best regards,

Mick

SMSMSE 6.5 on Exchange 2003

Hi Cseng,

Sure, 6.5 is supported / works well on Exchange 2003.  One of my Exchange servers here has exactly that combination.

Thanks again,

Mick
