Symantec Installation Manager (SIM) does not offer software updates

  • 1.  Symantec Installation Manager (SIM) does not offer software updates

    When I open SIM it lists the various 7.1 SP1 products that I have installed but doesn'f offer any updates, namely SP2 versions of these products. If I check the symantec.pl.xml document the SP2 versions are listed there. I checked article http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH122270, but it was concerned with downloading the updates. Any ideas?
