Hi,
What's the SEP version ?
You will find SEP_INST.LOG file under temp (%temp%) directory of root file.
Please attache those logs if they are present.
What the error message display while running the package
Take a look at this document:
Symantec Endpoint Protection: Preparing computers that run Windows Vista for remote client deployment
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH102442
You need to have permission for administrative shares such as C$ and admin$, which is not granted by default in Vista or Windows 7.
Hi Naveen,
Can you share the error message when installing symantec in vista machine
What version are you using? If using 12.1 there should be no issue but if you are using mr5 , export an MSI package then install liveupdate first (luall.exe) then install symantec antivirus.msi
installation should goes well
In the vista machine which you are getting the problem in that you have UAC (user acces control).
You can disable that & try to install.
Hi Naveen
Pls share the SEP_INST.LOG file and snapshot of error. Event of Error
