We are seeing instances of a non existant ca in our licenses after they are handed from the SIM to the OS certificate store, namely 'licensingca.altiris.com'. This causes the certificates to appear 'invalid or expired'. We noticed (at first) because our proxy was being pelted [DoS] by requests for this ca every time a licensing update was performed by the NS.
This actually hosed our NS forcing us to reload, licenses still trying to report to the licensing ca (that doesn't exist) and being permanently invalid. Updates were being reported to SIM funny and downloading inconsistant versions. The issue is still not resolved (tech support) and we are forced to use our NS6 until this issue gets resolved.
