Hello Rehman,

If the client is a managed client and you've uninstall liveupdate then I would suggest following things :-

1] uninstall liveupdate

2] delete liveupdate folder from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

3] install liveupadate

4] repaire SEP from Control Panel > add/remove program > Repair

This would re-register liveupate with SEP and it should take update from SEPM.

Please update the status,

You are carrying Symantec Endpoint Protection v 12.1.

It is important to understand that Liveupdate v.3.3 Application is used by Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager as well as Symantec Endpoint Protection Clients.

When you install SEPM and SEP client, they gets registered with the Liveupdate Application.

In Symantec Endpoint Protection version 11.x, check the steps in the Article which used to be performed when Liveupdate was uninstalled.

and here are the steps for Symantec Endpoint Protection version 12.1,

There is a bit difference in the Mechanism of Symantec Endpoint Protection v 12.1 with Liveupdate, check this Article:

Hope that helps!!

If you uninstall Symantec Live Update from client it wont take the latest update from SEPM console machine untill you install the live updade for that

Go to control paneal and  repair the symantec once and restart the machine and check it once even if not get update

Uninstall the complete symantec  and reinstall the again and try it once.
