can you access LUA server machine? like ping or \\ipaddress ?

I have followed the procedure in LUAdmin guide and hosted 50 Servers.
Pls read the luadmin guide u will get all the info.

Whether u r not able to reach symantec lu server or remote hosted site...?

If it shows Server not reachable then you need to check if you can open following web sites

liveupdate.symanetc.com
liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com

If you are able to open these web site in Internet explorer, try to ping them from Command Prompt

After this you may have to look for ports it they are blocked.
 

you can allow full access on different sites with your designed server with no ports required ports is being block.,

The first URL should read  liveupdate.symantec.com, not liveupdate.symanetc.com

Try this URL for grins - http://liveupdate-usci.symantecliveupdate.com

Add http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com
         http://liveupdate.symantec.com

add both these sites to trusted websites..

Make sure you are able to open this from Web Browser--it will re-direct it to 
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/index.jsp

That was a mistake, i have corrected it,
I configure another source server using the URL you gave me, but it is unreachable also.
OR what do u mean by URL for grins

 @Destafford - I would suggest you creating new discussion with the details about your issue.

you can exclude the ip address of lua on your firewall or similar.

I have resolved this by deleting the port value for the symantec site, therefore allowing the program to select the default port, i kept the port i use for my proxy in the bottom port box
