Disable the Auto-Protect feature in SEP 12 for Mac OS and check the connectivity.

    To disable the Auto-Protect feature:

    1. In the top menu bar, to the far right, click the Symantec QuickMenu icon.
    2. From the drop-down list, select Symantec Endpoint Protection.
    3. From the drop-down list, select Disable Auto-Protect.
    4. An authentication window will open.
    5. In the Name: text box, type the name of an account on your computer that holds administrator privileges.
    6. In the Password: text box, type the password for the administrative account.
    7. Click OK.

I will reachout to Cisco. I understand they have a new patch to fix the problem. I will post the results as soon as I have it working.
