Symantec Mail Regarding IPS updates

Recently i recieved a mail from symantec. Does this have any effect on our symantec sep which is 11.0.6

The answer is yes - it does.

This is a notification, I guess you've subscribed to one.
SEP management servers automatically download the updates from Symantec based on the settings you've made on the server(s).

We can see email addresses. Unless it is intentional - I suggest you remove it.
By 'we' - I meant - members of the forums, visitors, and those doing a web search.

now how can i see that on the clients? wether its updated or not?

Try any of these

a. Go to the client PC and open the Symantec Endpoint console, the definition updates should match the latest definition dates posted by Symantec.
b. Log on to the SEP management console, upper right window of the Home page. The graph shows how many clients have which updates and 2 lines at the bottom shows the latest updates available at the server and used by the clients.

Check  what is the updates for the NTP component.Latest ons is
 Network Threat Protection: 7/21/2010 rev. 1
