    Hi all ,

    I faced a problem with Symantect Management Agent installation . I did a push Agent to client , the status report that success but on the client I did not find any Symantec Management Agent icon .Can anybody met this problem , please help !

    Check the AeX... logs in the %windir% or %windir%\system32.

    Hello,

    Kindly confirm the "Symantec Management Agent" Servie aavailable or not?

    Check the Altiris folder under program file folder, is it available or not?

    Hello,

    you could use the pull method by using the URL specified on the push download page.  By default the URL ishttp://<servername.domain.com>/Altiris/NS/Agent/AltirisAgentDownload.aspx.

    Check wheter it work or not?

    Hi technical_specialist

    There is Altiris Agent Installation service appeared on client machine .and there are not any foler Altiris under program file folder .

    Check the registry and remove it then try again

    hi,

    1 ) You can download Altiris client in http://<servername.domain.com>/Altiris/NS/Agent/AltirisAgentDownload.aspx.

    2) RUN CMD figd location where you save altiris client package

    3) AeXNSC.exe /install /ns=(Server name) You can find command under URL http://<servername.domain.com>/Altiris/NS/Agent/AltirisAgentDownload.aspx.)

    hi ,

    after followed the instruction to delete altiris in registry , I push the Symantec Management Agent againt but the problem is same . :-(

    Hello

    Kindly post the log

    %windir% or %windir%\system32

    So we can find the actual reason of the error and provide the troubleshooting step.

    If any event can generate while deploying then also provide it.

    i downloaded the file AeXNSC.exe and run it on client but there is an errors as in the picture below , anybody get the same problem ?

    Hello,

    You can run on command promot.

    1) copy package on C: Drive

    2) Run CMD.

    3) Type command AeXNSC.exe /install /ns=ABC.Yahoo.com

    Hello,

    This error come because some of the registry file is still available in Client.

    Check agian "Symantec Management Agent" Service is available or not

    If it availble then you need to remove it.

    After Removing then try again to install.

    check the services (altiris) in client site, if its available restart it.
