Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL 2008 64-bit off box, SMP 7.1, Client Management and Service and Asset Management Suites are installed.

I'm having trouble getting parameters to work in my reports. The options between what is supplied in the "canned" reports are different than the options I have available.

I copied the Owned Assets report to see if I could find out what I was doing wrong, but it would appear that there is something missing in my installation.

Report parameters from the "canned" report shows this:

Report parameter options I have when this Value Provider Name is selected is this:

If I change the "canned" report Value Provider to something else and then back to the original, those original options are gone.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem? I really need SQL based drop-down queries for parameters in my reports.

A custom report includes the options in your second screenshot by default:

If I understand correctly, you want to see a drop-down control to fill in the parameter value in your report that can be selected from the report page, just prior to running it?
