Hello All,

Our MDM Agent Provisioning Profile (iOS) is set to expire soon.  I was wondering if I go through the steps of creating a new provisioning profile from the Apple Developer Portal and add it into MDM (not App Center) via Configuration Editor -> Credentials, and then deploy via policy, will this prevent the need to push a new MDM App?  If this is not possible is there a non-intrusive way of distributing the new provisioning profile?

I know I can push security certificates using the method above because we are currently doing so with a web app to an internal site.  

In addition, if I create the new Provisioning profile will it invalidate the current provisioning profile?  I would like to test the creation and deployment of the profile before I send it out to our devices.

I ran into the same thing.  I went in and created a new profile, generated a new in house app with the new profile, and replaced my published app on my web server.

User visits our internal install URL and app updated previously-installed app and did not require re-enrollment or anything.

After the app is updated the user can go to Profiles and remove the soon-to-expire profile.
