    Hi,

we are using single host Symantec Messaging Gateway 9.5.4. The problem is that on Status section I can not access Logs. Gateway is searching information and just display that page can not be displayed.

On Administration section Logs are Enabled on local host with maximum log size of 20mb.

What could I do to make logs display?

    thank you,
    n

    Hi.

Do you access Control Center via Internet Explorer? Enable Compatibility View Mode in IE.

    Or use Firefox or Chrome.

This typically means that the Messaging Gateway cannot talk to its scanner(s). The agent service is responsible for this and they communicate on port 41002. You should consider restarting the agetn service on each Messaging Gateway and then restart the ControlCenter service on the Control Center. Once this is done and you still cannot access the logs, you may need to verify that they can communicate.

Another step to be taken would be to repair any crashed tables in MySQL by runnign the following command on the Messaging Gateway: cc-config database --repair

I was alble to open Logs after upgrade from 9.4 to 9.5 and MSG restart.

we have only one MSG server and restarting this MSG server should restart all services (Control Center, agent)?

I run  cc-config database --repair, but still can not open Logs. And I need them to open, is anything else I could try?

    thank you
