  • 1.  SYMANTEC MESSAGING gateway 10.5.4-4

    hello community,

     

    SMG setup:

     

    A is a SMG gateway to the internet for all in / out of my company  (this is a VM) 10.5.4-4

    B is another SMG right after A for other mail routing but all mail passes thru B as well in /out (this is a VM) as well 10.5.4-4

     

    A and B both have the same SPAM filtering settings (delete mail with spam).

     

    Problem: B is catching spam that A should have caught. <-- this is not right

     

    Settings:  Both A and B are allowed (thru the firewall) to go where ever neeed to get virus and spam defs; basically they are allowed to make any                              connection to symantec or brightmail servers to get updates < this is NOT the issue, this works perfectly.

                   Sender Authentication is off on A and B and DKIM is off

     

    PLease help

    Pull up the Message Audit Log entries for the same exact email on both and check for any differences.
