  • 1.  Symantec messaging gateway error message

    I am getting error message when releasing message from Spam Message Quarantine. I get these messages:

    Cannot submit the selected message(s) to Symantec Security Response. Control Center command error: curl: (55) select/poll returned error

    Cannot submit the selected message(s) to Symantec Security Response. The request cannot be processed because of network issue. Please ensure Control Center has a correct network or proxy server settings

    Can you please help. Thanks!

    If your Control Center is behind a proxy or firewall you might want to check if it can reach the internet.

    On the Web Admin-Interface go to "Administration" -> "Hosts" -> "Configuration" and click on your Control Center host. Check the network settings in the Tabs "Ethernet" (make sure that the Default Gateway is correct) and "Proxy" (in case you need one to connect to the Internet).

    You can also try to view the logs of your Internet firewall in case your Control Center is not directly exposed to the Internet.
