Hi, I am using Symantec Messaging gateway 10.5.2-3. I have a problem with SMG parallel message checking. I am using SMG from several months so i am not very familiar with it. In my case i have several mail domains in Local Bad Sender Domains list. But when message arrives and this message have a match both in Local Bad Sender list and suspected spam result is Local Bad Sender delete message but in same time suspected spam rule send a message to user that this message is in quarantine. Local Bad Sender action is Delete message, don't have reject action in action menu. I can add Bypass content filters but cannot bypass spam filtering. I am searching solution for matches in Local Bad Sender list to be deleted/rejected and most important to bypass/workaround suspected spam rule (to avoid unnecessary messages to users for already deleted messages). Its very annoying when mass-mailing spam match on both rules. Best Regards,

Yeah, those two combinations don't mix well. You should either raise your suspect spam threshold higher, or remove the notification action from the spam policy.
