Symantec Mobile Management 7.1 User Guide

Hi,

Can anyone point me in the direction of the afformentioned MM 7.1 User Guide (Refferred to many times HERE).  Im starting to plan for a PoC and was hoping to do some in depth reading before hand,  but I just cant find this document anywhere.

Feature comparison

Hi Mac,

Is there any detailed feature guide listing all features supported for each one of the managed platforms (iOS, Android, etc.)?

Thanks for your quick response. Why is Android not in that table? Also, it would be great if we could have something more detailed. For example, I am sure that there are some policies that are available for one platform that are not available in a different one.

So thinking of it I'd say a nice grid with all features and what's available for each platform would be nice. It would make it much easier to find this information both for us partners and for clients.

Hello Bernado,

We will get more sooner or later from our Development regarding this but for the moment this is the information available:

Support on Android with EAS is based on the version of Android (minimum version: 2.2)
and the hardware vendor support as well. 
(Each vendor can customize or limit the functionality of EAS for their device.)

A generic list of what functionality is available for EAS for different Operating Systems, including Android could be found here:

Now with Mobile Management 7.2 we will get further support and more details for Android.
