Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Quick question: while setting up Symantec Mobile Management I got to the point where I had to install Symantec Mobile Management Push Services. And the Guide (SMM for Configuration Manager 7.2 Installation Guide) says:

To perform the Push Services installation:

1. Locate the executable and start the installation wizard by double-clicking the

Symantec Mobile Management Push Services icon.

but never says where tot get the executabe. Do you know where to get it?

 

 

You tagged this with 'SMP' and 'Notification Server' tags, but you say you're reading the Configuration Manager guide which would be for SCCM.  Are you implementing for SCCM or for Symantec/Altiris SMP/NS?

Symantec has so many solutions and documentation is very complex. What is SCCM, and SMP/NS? I have tagged the post with Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server) because didn't find any applicable tags - only this one. What am I trying to unstall is Symantec Mobile Management solution to be able manage Apple devices. I had installed Symantec Management Platform and a lot of supporting services (which grow exponentially as I read endless manuals). confused

You installed the SMP, which is correct.  That's a Symantec product as part of Altiris.  You're reading, however, the SMM for Configuration Manager 7.2 Installation Guide.  Configuration Manager is SCCM -- a Microsoft product with which SMM can integrate.
