symantec pop up shows unable to send mail

    I am using symantec antivirus 10.1.5        .In a client pc symantec pop up frequently comes showing that unable to sent message. this message fills the whole desktop .I think there is a spyware entered to the system which is trying to send mails. Antivirus is fully update still unable to detect it.what can be done ? tried scanning in safe mode.

    Hi,

    Your machine is infected with a worm

    I do remember last 1.5 year back, we too faced the same issue.

    Can you pls apply the RR definition, and scan the PC in safe mode with system Restore OFF.

    Also disable the option of Internet email /Exchange and Lotus notes scanning in SAV client.
