    I just installed the latest version of Symantec Protection 6.0 for SharePoint Servers, with the latest Protection Engine. Everything seems to work fine, but every day, I always receive two error messages. Can anyone explain me what these messages are?

    With kind regards,

    Kenneth

    Check Windows Logs -> System.

    Check for Source: Kernel-General events 13 and 12. See if the operating system shutting down event was logged. In my case WindowsUpdateClient required server restart. Server was restarted. Then Symantec Protection for SharePoint Servers service is started (it generated the email notification). Then Symantec Protection Engine service is started. There was 3 seconds in between. During this time Protection for SharePoint Servers service generated error message stating engine service is offline.
