Hi,
We have SEP SBE in our company and are going to start testing Windows 7. My question is, does the SPC automatically download the lastest versions so that when I go to install the client, I should already have a version that is compatible with Windows 7? In SPC it says I have version 12.0.122.192. Is this a Windows 7 compatible version? Thanks

The clients is not downloaded
The updated client version is not downloaded automatically..that version you have to download from https://fileconnect.symantec.com and use or upgrade existing version.
The Windows 7 Compatible version is 12.0.1001.95

Thanks! Is it possible at all
Thanks!
Is it possible at all to integrate that version with the SPC so that whenever we did a push installation, they would get that version? Since we've been doing that all along, that would be easiest for written procedures if we could keep it the same.
I am not getting your
I am not getting your question.Any way there is no difference in the installation packages for different os.Only for 32 bit and for 64 bit installation packages are different.i.e.You can use the same installation package for all 32 bit windows oses or you can use the same installation package for all 64 bit windows oses
Please don't forget to mark your thread solved with whatever answer helped you : ) Thanks & Regards Aravind
Yes once you donload that
Yes once you donload that version and upgrade your SPC..which is simple next..next ..finish..then you can have win 7 client on it.

Thanks for clarifying
Thanks for clarifying Vikram.
I was not sure if simply updating the SPC would update the SEP or if there was something else that I needed to do to upgrade the SEP too.
