    Good afternoon,

Currently trying to implement Symantec Protection for Sharepoint Services 5.1 and having a great load of difficulties.
Has anyone out there tried and/or worked with this product before? I have tried installing it on a Win2008 Server running Sharepoint 2007.

The install process was a succsess, but everytime I try open up the administration console I receive an error:

"Cannot Start service from the command line or a debugger. A Windows Service must first be installed (using installutil.exe) and then started with the ServerExplorer, Windows Services Administrative Tools or the NET START command"

I have checked services and everything seems to be running ok. Any ideas please?

    Thank you.
