Are Symantec Protection Suite and Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x the same thing?

I'm just a little confused on this?

 It is the same thing but sold under different suites.
I saw a discussion about this from vikram kumar.

SPS is a bundle of few Symantec products and Symantec Endpoint is part of that bundle

I'm appreciate the quick feedback, but I'm still unclear on what the difference is between the 2?

Is SPS new?  If so, what does it offer that SEP does not offer?

It seems that the SEP Multi-Tier offers the  same, Exchange support, backup Exec.

if you see this discussion you will know SPS enterprise and SBS offer.

they are just bundled together for cost and sale purpose these does not affect the funtionality of the product.

however there is 1 big diffrence
in SPS enterprise you get SEP 11.x
in SPS SBE you get SEP 12.x SBE
