Symantec Scan Engine service will not start.

  • 1.  Symantec Scan Engine service will not start.

    The scan engine 5.2.11.131 service on my Windows 2003 server will not start up using Local System account.  Any ideas why this would be?

    Will it start if you provide your credentials as the login account?
