    Hello!

Not sure where to post so I posted here. Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 SBE with Basic maintanance

No that any computer has an infection the program can't deal with or there are any other malware problem but I am kind of researching for viruses and threats and I regularly submit samples to Symantec , samples which are undetected by the product . What is the standart reaction time for Symantec Security Response ? I supports weekends count too ?

Because the first time I submitted as Basic maintance I got a reply and Rapid Release update available in about 12 hours after my submission . However , so far I have submitted 3 different submissions and didn't have a reacion yet (it has been about 2 days). In the past I have submitted as Norton user and I was getting closing emails faster.

    Thank you!

There is no "Standard reaction time" for submissions. It all depends on the amount of submissions in the queue ahead of you. Can you please provide the SR submission numbers? I will see if I can get some information on your suspected files.

Oh , no , don't worry . As I said there is no problem , I just submit samples often to help you improve detection.

I notice that if I submit the samples as Norton user , most of the time I'll get closing email that  the auto system wasn't able to find anything malicious and that human analysis will be performed . However , if I submit as a corporate user , I get a closing email telling that Rapid Release update was created.

You say there is no standart time for reaction . Is there any maximum time for reaction and does it different for the types of users (Norton or corporate) and the type of support included in the license (Basis , Essential ... Gold , Platium ...)

Thank you for your time and help !

Maximum turnaround times are not published. Platinum accounts get the highest priority, then gold, and so on.
