Hi, If endpoiont protection

Hi,

If endpoiont protection did not detect it, how did you come to know about this specific infection? Are you using any third party tools as well?

If you also seem to know the file that has been infected, you can submit the file to the security response team for analysis.

Please follow the steps below:

nasty Spyware/Virus

We are running EPP 11 on our desktops, and have encountered a nasty virus/spyware over the last week that Symantec has't detected, or when it does, it's too late. Even running in safe mode hasn't cleaned it out, and it stops 3rd party scans from running, like MalwareBytes, even in safe mode. Our senior techs, who pride themselves on being able to clean out PCs, had to throw in the towel and re-image the laptop.
