Symantec System Console definition issue
Created: 06 Nov 2012 | 2 comments
Hi forum,
Forgive me if this has been covered previously, but just finding the forum and had a hard time navigating. Probably a little impatient also.
I've noticed (using the Symantec Antivirus View) in our SSC that some of our clients are falling behind in their virus definition dates. It looks as though the "scan engine", the "last scan", and "version" are up to date, but the definition date is falling behind on a few of our 100 or so clients.
When I go thru manually and try to initiate the Live Update, that will bring the def's current. I'm not sure if they will continue to keep pace automatically though.
Thank you for your help.

Jusr as an FYI, are you aware it is EOL:

Are they communicating in with SSC? Can you force an update through SSC?
