    Hi,

    My name is Jorge Ruiz and I´m looking a Symantec tool that can help me to erase remotely any mobile computer that can be lost or stolen.

    Do you know some?

    There no tool from Symantec to do this.

    While there is no tool that does a remote wipe for laptops we can do so for mobile devices with App Center, our mobile device management solution.

     

    For laptops this use case is typically one that we recommend using whole disk encyrption for via Symantec Endpoint Encryption. While it does not wipe the data it does keep the data secure against loss or theft becusae a password or smart card is used to authenticate the user at boot time. In this case the end result is the same in that the data is secured from unauthorized users.
