Symantec Update not taking automatically

Hi

One of the Windows 2000 Server is not taking update automatically from SEPM , Kindly confirm whether Windows 2000 Server will take automatic updates we are using SEP 12.1

What sep client version are install in Windows 2000 server ?

if it is running SEP 11 and communicating with SEPM with 12.1 and have LU policy to get the update it will.

if its is not updating pass on the sylink log

We are using 11.0 and OS is windows 2000 service pack 4

is the client managed client?

is the LU policy configured for clients to get the updates from SEPM?

Yes SEP 12.1 Can be manage sep 11 Client.

It's  taking update automatically from SEPM

If it's not update you can pass sylink log

I have replaced the sylink file just now

if it was communicating then it should get the updates with above condition meeting.. if not then enable sylink logging and pass on
