Endpoint Protection

Hi All,
First post here so bear with me.
I have a windows environment running symantec v10. My Symantec console server is running windows server 2003 and clients are windows XP. The current clinet install is run from the Symantec console server and this automatically configures the client to communicate with the comsole server for its updates.

I now have a need to install symantec v10 client on a Windows 7 64 bit OS. I want this to report back into my existing Symantec console server.

Can you point me in the direction of 64 bit v10 download?

Is it possible to have 64 bit client reporting into 32 bit server?

SAV is not supported on Windows 7 64 bit, you need  SEP 11.0 RU5 and above

SAV 10.x (10.2 )is only supported till WIn Vista.
For WIndows 7 you need to insall SEP 11.x latest version 11.0.5 or higher.

Thanks for the fast feedback guys.  I have a project coming to upgrade to v11 anyway. I will install this windows 7 an unmanaged fro now and manage it when i have me v11 server configured.

Where can i get a download for SEP v11?

You can download it from  site :https://fileconnect.symantec.com/

Reiterating what's been said above: it's not supported on Windows 7.

To answer your other questions:

It would be part of your existing installation.  It is not a separate download.

Yes, but they can't get definitions via VDTM in SAV.
