I was wondering if there was a way to setup the users to get Virus Definition at off peak working hour early in the morning are last in the after noon.
I am using Sepp 11 I have 2 offices with about 300 users in each office, each office has a group update provider. I have look in the management console but don't see anyway to schedule times for update unless I have everyone pull from the management server.

Is there a way that I might be missing to schedule update when using an update provider.........?

As SEPM downloads the definitons it pushes down to the GUP.
So schedule the Liveupdate for SEPM in such a way that it should be at your convinent time

Login to SEPM - ADMIN - SERVER - Right Click On Local Site ( site name ) click Properties
    Click On liveupdate
By default the Schedule is every 4 hours so you can change it accordingly

Yes I think Vikram ir right & Incase even if that fails then you can go for the option of installing the Liveupdate Administartor.
