Workspace Streaming

Hi All,

We have upgraded our production environment to 7.5 version and started rollout of agnet on workstations. Some critical applications are not working after upgrading the agent.

Is there anyway to downgrade the agent from 7.5 to 6.1.8 as manual run is giving error "hogher version detected" as we don't want to re-stream all the streamed application on user's workstaion.

Unfortuntately, there is no supported downgrade method. You will need to manually uninstall the 7.5 versions of the Symantec Workspace Streaming Agent and the Symantec Workspace Virtualization Agent. You will also need to be remove any layers that were present as they get upgraded/revisioned with the new version and become incompatible with the 6.1.8 version.

After uninstalling Streaming Agent and Virtualization Admin i was not able to delete some remnants from FSLRDR because it requires permissions from SYSTEM (I have full admin rights). There are tools which can help to remove it but iam looking for some automated way how to do it.

Can you please provide any solution?
