Hi all,

i have a problem in my test environment of SWS 6.1 SP8.

I have installed one Back-END server and one Front-END server with one Windows 7 Client with Streaming Agent Installed correctly.

I apply installation policy of package for a users and login with this users on my client.

Package don't download automatically. Why?

If i logon into webportal of my Front-END server, it log me correctly.

For download package i manually click on webportal and download start correctly.

Why? Is correct?

have you any idea?

Thanks

Danilo Zappa

Hello Danilo,

I believe you are referring to provisioned packages not being streamed down automatically or available to user at logon.

For this to work you can use the pre-cache feature (PPP: Pre-pop packages and PPI: Pre-pop Icons). This is detailed in admin guide.

Please try this and ;et me know if that works.

Regards,

Bala

Hello Danilo,

Thanks for the message. Did you mean to say that it all started with eval license that came with installer got expired? Are you able to get the pre-pop settings to work properly? Do you still have issues?

Regards,

Bala
