Basically im seeing this come up quite a lot on a number of servers we support, i would like to know what is actually needed or installed that is to be kept on the local machine when its running symantec.cloud for AV.

I would love to clear down space on a device that has symantec.cloud but unsure why there are large files still on the server if its cloud based AV.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.4013.4013.105 is a directory on the machine, but there is no known software installed. In here there is a CurrentVersion and PersistedData.  Are these needed or used?

Do DAT files still need to be replicated as ive got multiple versions of .dat files from all different dates?

That are taking up 500mb a go. Please help dont know what should be there.  I need to free up to 8.8gb.

Was SEP originally installed and then removed before Symantec.cloud was installed? If so, you should be able to delete this directory as it pertained to SEP.

seems like SEP 12.1.4 was installed before cloud was installed. since this will be a side by side install. the remanants will be removed after reboot. based on number of content revisions set ( by default 30) the space will be used accordingly you can always remove the previous defs to free some space.
