How can I tell if I have the mail/Exchnage components installed, as party of my Symantec EndPoint Protection SBS suite?

I know it asked me for my mail port during install... but I don't see anything that refers to Mail Security for Micrososft Exchange. Not in teh Installed Programs list, the Symatec console, or the Windows Servies.

    TIA.

mail security of Microsoft exchange is different product than SEP. SEP has outlook plugins.

    Hello,

During the Installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection, the mail port number it asks, is for the email notification purposes. That has nothing to do with Symantec Mail Security for Exchange.

Since you have purchased SBS suite, please download the Symantec Mail Security for Exchange software from the fileconnect website and install the same on your machine.

Symantec Endpoint Protection does not scan the Exchange folders and you may require a Symantec Mail Security for Exchange software to protect those folders.

    Hope that helps!!

I see... the Exchange component only comes with the Suite. Just odd that is asked for the inbound mail port during the install.
