I there any way to run Sysprep with the mini setup and avoid overwriting parts of the default user profile?

I have created a user profile with specific mapped drives, printers etc.. After running sysprep the default user profile no longer contains the mapped drives and printers.

Take alook at this KB article and ensure that this is not your issue first

I would bet the above artlicle is your problem Craig, the hotfix works like a charm. I still dont understand why Microsoft changed the profile behavior in the first place.
