Hello everyone !

I've been using DS 6.9 SP2 for a few months now.
Everything works OK.
But I'm facing a little problem now :

Whenever I try to create an XP SP3 image, by sending a create image job on the computer, the Sysprep is copied from the server, then executed, then... nothing. Whereas it is supposed to reboot the computer to boot to automation and start capturing the image.
I have to manually check the state of sysprep in the task manager and then reboot the computer when sysprep disapears.

I use the XP SP3 sysprep version, published last year on microsoft Website.

Did I do anything wrong ? Does anyone here have that problem ?

In advance, thank you !

Gerald

Very easy solution

Windows XP Service pack 3 needs it's own sysprep.
You can download the correct version from the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?di...

This version is backwards compatible with SP1 and 2.

Hey ErikW, I think the OP is

Hey ErikW, I think the OP is using the XP SP3 sysprep files. have you tried to manually run the sysprep and capture image without using the Altirisd Sysprep functions?

Copy your sysprep files and ini to C:/sysprep

run: Sysprep -mini -reseal -noreboot.

Shutdown the machine and then send the Capture image job.
