    Dear ,

I have been facing system booting problem with some systems( 50 out of 800 clients) those have sav 10.1.7.7000 clients. But when i unload the sav 10.1.7.7000 client from  system , system boots without any problem.

Could any one tell me the root cause of this problem?

Seems like the issue is mentioned here with RTVSCAN.exe crashing MBR

This could be a virus issue take one machine connect the hard drive of that machine to some other machine & do scan on the same.. If dont find any virus then try to repair the windows on the same.

    Dear Rafeeq,

Upgrading  or updating the current version is not possible immediately  as i need to follow Configuration /Change managment procedures & approval  and that may take some time.

is there an any manual procedure or workaround to address this issue to those specific clients only.?

Hi Sansri, try booting in save mode and set the Startup Options to "Symantec Antivirus", instead of "System". This will delay the start of SAV a bit and should help you getting the PC into the Login window.
You can find this option in the Configure > Filesystem AutoProtect > Advanced
If this helps you have a conflict in the startup processes with another program. You can use Tools like Autoruns (Sysinternals) to compare machines that do work with the ones that don't.

I believe this is a virus issue check the start up from msconfig then disble all the unnecessary file to boot on start up. then update your antivirus then perform full scan
