System infected

    Hi everyone,

     

    one client  in our network receive avirus throw mail in open it

    and i will run full scan but i think not remove it i will upload screenshot for system get a virus.

    i need your assistant to solve this issue please?

    So this was an email they received with a malicious attachment?

    If so just delete the email, that should take care of this.

    It's a malicious email, deleting it is what needs to be done.

    Attachements or specific file extension should be blocked at your email gateway. SEP can only react to this and cannot prevent malicious emails from being received.

    i need to protect our client if open it  attached  contain mailcius by mistake , So as not to affect the our work

    SEP is detecting the malicious file and acting on it. That's the best it can do. It would be reactive in this case.

    thanks Dear Brain ,

    if you delete it for quarantine it will delete form Permanently form my system

    the last thing i see in the last coulm in quarantine Status infected is this real.

    Yes, it would remove from the system. You need to delete that backup as well.

    SEP detected an infection so it quarantined it. It is unable to do any damage to the system. Best to delete the file to be safe.
