Can anyone tell me why my System Notifications almost always show only "Nothing to Report"?

This certainly has been an issue with MR2, but I'm sure it goes back to MR1 and RTM too. Upgrading to MR2 MP2 did not fix it.

I was originally lead to upgrade to MR2 MP2 to try the steps suggested in another post:

• upgrade to MR2 MP2
• delete the notifications
• log off SEPM and log back on
• recreate the notifications (System; all activities; severity: Warning and above; action: write to DB and email)

but the problem remains: my notifications (both emails and the reports in SEPM) show only "Nothing to Report".

If I view the System logs I can see system events that presumably correspond to the notifications, although the times don't exactly correspond. (These recent events have been LU failures for the x64 client.)

So, why aren't notifications showing the actual event info?
