This issue has been solved. See solution.

I purchased System Recovery 2013 Desktop Edition and downloaded the file.  Found that the .zip file contained an .ISO file.  Burned that to a CD.  Loaded the CD and found that this was not an installation CD,  but a recovery disk with no option to actually install any program.  The instructions do not match what I see when I run this disk.  Product manual shows me that a full application should be installed???

How do I get to the actual software install?  I don't see a setup.exe on the CD made from the .ISO.

Thanks.

You need to download the product itself. The recovery disk is used when you need to recover an entire machine.

You can download the product using our trialware site:

Also you need to download SSR_11.0.0.xxx_Multilingual_Product.zip for install and if you need a recovery disk , download SSR_11.0.0.xxx_English_Recovery_Disk_Only.zip

Hope this helps !
