The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager includes an embedded database, and this is the only choice in Small Business Edition. In the enterprise version, you may use the embedded database or one of the following versions of Microsoft SQL Server:

  • SQL Server 2005, SP4
  • SQL Server 2008
  • SQL Server 2008 R2
  • SQL Server 2012

@ Brian

Its not always we get the solution from knowledge base.

If you are quiet enough to give answers you can give it and not comenting on the ability of the person.

Really? Seems many others were able to find it pretty easily. You can play it any way you want but your ability was not questioned.

Being a "partner" I would've hoped you had more knowledgeand/or accessto things like this. Other partners on here do. But what do I know...

Also, don't forget to mark his answer as the solution then so this thread can be closed out.

Any further issues then send me a PM
