After that SqlServerWriter and WMI Writer are in failed(7) status on client.. Restart corresponding services change status to stable but on next backup writers are failed again.

How to solve this problem ?

Thank you.

I'm facing issue with backup for XP (SP3) client.

See note 3 of  Microsoft Windows XP - NetBackup Client in NBU 7.x SCL :

3. NetBackup 7.x does not support Open File Backup on this platform. It is supported with back level NetBackup 6.x clients.

System State / Shadow Copy Components needs Open File Backup.

You need to specify individual drive letters only with WOFB disabled in Master server Host Properties -> Master -> Client Attributes -> <Client name>.

Thank you for your replies.

The 2 T/N posted by Nagalla don't solve the issue.

I have downgraded the client to 6.5 and it's work correctly now.
I don't understand why the downgrade from 7.5.0.4 to 7.1.0.4 works for another XP client and not for this client.
And also I don't understand why it was working under version 7.1.0.4 before upgrade to 7.5.0.4 and does not work anymore after downgrade to 7.1.0.4.

Please see my post above - NetBackup 7.x does not support Open File Backup on this platform.

I cannot explain why it was previously working with 7.1.x as WOFB was never supported in 7.x for XP.
