I get the following error when trying to select the system state in my selection list. I'm running 12.5 rev. 2213 SP2 on a Windows Server 2003 SP2 standard box.

"An error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of system state. A failure occured accessing the Volume snapshot service interface"

If you find this is a solution, please mark it as such.

Ensure that Volume Shadow

Ensure that Volume Shadow copy service is started on the target server. Also, if it was working in the past, try a reboot.
